YOU LOSERS!
i urge you to mock at me more! cos the more you do it, the closer i get. after my intense losing streak that had cost a few hundreds, i started risking S$5(s) instead. i buy away-home, i buy the underdogs, i put $5 on every impossibility. well of cos with some $20-$50 on the bao-iahs.
thanks to people like my beloved boyfriend, my dearest ahkor, who had laughed the hardest. others include boyfriend's friends, boyfriend's friends' friends and the list goes on. people who can hardly hold back that evil laughter. ma de. only sister weesin is humane. always believing in my judgement.
so take a look back. boyfriend had thrown all the losing tickets away after his $500 lost on the England vs Trinidad&Tobago match, so i can only review the recent matches.
Mexico vs Angola. $5 draw-home. bloody draw game. i just needed that one goal from Mexico. why the hell are people all so gehgao lately? so boyfriend lost S$50, jacky S$50, nick S$200, jon S$1500. all thanks to mexico.
Czech Republic vs Ghana. common sense, PICK CZECH LA! i got so badly laughed at before the match after boyfriend broadcasted that i had picked Ghana. but i did buy away-home for this too. (ya i know, either way i will lose at least one.) but who knows czech really think so highly of themselves that they did not even bother to score one. whereas the rookie Ghana scored at the 2'. *flips hair back* "huh? what did you all say just now ar? hur!"
Italy vs USA. draw-home. but Italy just won't score one more at the 2nd half. and they played really badly this match. the whole group of us lost more than S$1,000.
Brazil vs Australia. i know brazil is really good. but when i bet away-home, Australia couldn't score any.
France vs Korea Republic. tell me how many of you actually picked France? as far as i know, almost all my friends did. i bought home-away. just needed that 1 more goal from korea to get S$140 off S$5.
all of the above are only half of my minor loss. but i did win a little bit la. like yesterday's Saudi Arabia vs Ukraine.
and after being so close to winning big off my S$5 for so many times, i finally po tio ytd. now Spain and Tunisia are my new best friends. i bought away-home and Spain put 1.5goal. S$5 pay S$125. and that 90' goal made things even better. my poor ahkor who had suffered quite a bit of losses thought he was about to lose another S$130 when i called him at the 89' to inform him of the 2-1. and he called me back the next minute saying it's 3-1. lol.
and yes i bought Ecuador for tonight. please, laugh for all you want.
